The brand I will talk about in this post is Nikki Lipstick, this brand has been around for three years and growing fast. Owned and run by Nikki Lipstick herself, she hand makes all of the pasties, hand alters the shirts, as the shirts printed professionally. She had her start in the beauty industry doing makeup for photoshoots, she started her brand just with $1.
She has her products in stores in L.A, NYC and Tokyo. She mostly relies on e-commerse or online shopping for her customers. She gets her inspiration for her clothing from fashion, music, art, movies, everything is an inspiration to her. Her products are the #1 talked about indie brand on tumblr, everyone wants one things from her clothing line.
A lot of her products deal with 90's fashion and saying that are popular at that time and things that are popular right now on the site tumblr. Some of the products have pentagrams, inverted crosses, Barbie, lipsticks, Witches, tie dye, and others.
Price of products run from $5 - $60, again remember she hand designs these shirts, their has been many complains that many customers have not received their product, some customers have waited a year for their products and have still not received their products. I personally myself have not ordered from her site but I have always wanted to but I am afraid that I will never see my order, but then again a lot of people have gotten their orders.
But overall look at the brand, I am still in love with the brand, I will try and order one thing from her and see what happens, I love the brands image for the last three years, I really hope things have changed. I would still try to order from her, but thats a 50/50 chance.
